Dr. Shim completed her dental doctorate at Temple University in Philadelphia in 2004, followed by a General Practice Residency. After working as a general dentist for five years, she decided to return to school in conjunction with VA Hospital-Memphis to become a periodontist in 2010. Today, she is Board-Certified, which represents her commitment to clinical excellence and lifelong education.
Dr. Lee grew up in a family whose father was a dentist and mother was an artist. Inspired by her parents, Dr. Lee’s passion to combine her artistic talent to dentistry, where she could use her skills to make the greatest impact, enabled her to pursue quality care for her patients.
As a general dentist, Dr. Lee is an Invisalign provider and her integral knowledge in dentistry and gentle hands that are dedicated to offer restorative and cosmetic treatment with latest techniques.
Dr. Jay Ahn was raised in North Jersey, obtained his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University in Chicago before moving back to New Jersey where he received his dental degree from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2019. The next year, he completed a one year general practice residency (GPR) in Monmouth Medical Center and has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education (CE) courses including several in extractions, implants and botox among others.
For the past three years prior to joining the team, Dr. Ahn had been working in four very different offices with diverse patient backgrounds and is comfortable adapting to the needs of his patients.
One thing about his work that Dr. Ahn most enjoys is being able to build a relationship with his patients and educating them on oral health and nutrition. He has advised and motivated many patients to be aware of their oral conditions and helped them take steps to make positive changes.
Dr. Ahn is passionate about health and nutrition and runs a 5k around his home every morning. He is an avid travel enthusiast with expertise in all things points and miles, hotels and airlines. He also comes from a tennis family with his sister, formerly a Top 100 pro in the WTA who played Serena Williams at the US Open.
